A truly amazing second event. Thanks to our special guests Ken Scott and Graham Chalmers – the total raised was £804.00 and every penny goes to the charity.
Starlings was literally packed to the rafters and guests were treated to a fantastic experience including samples from the original multi-track recording of Starman. Playback of an original pressing followed on legendary Marantz receivers and KEF loudspeakers fully restored, all 1973 items.
We had a unique piece of art donated by Ann Townsend, created by Fran Taylor of Edge Hairdressing – this raised £200 in our auction together with £92 from Colette’s raffle.
