Grease was the word… Good times had by all! Planning an event slap bang in the middle of the holiday season did cause questions of one’s sensibility.
Despite a thinner attendance than normal it was a great event and a tidy sum of £130 was raised, plus gift-aid. The original 1978 pressing of grease sounded its age and had been well loved by the previous unknown owner!!!
Magnificent turntable, receiver & amp from Sony paired with Goodmans and Wharfedale speakers – all 1975/76 vintage were amazing, a couple of bonus tracks from Jean-Michel Jarre demonstrated how good real vintage audio can sound.
