Our 7th Event – The Beatles & Sgt Pepper – We had an original pressing courtesy of Graham, playing this on an age related Sony setup was quite amazing.
Interestingly we enjoyed a few tracks off the remastered 2017 version and the difference was noticeable in respect to the “punchy” base and some alterations to the stereo effects – some digital magic I suspect!
Jim’s video slide show was superb during playback and a last minute quiz of the album cover entertained all involved
A great attendance and lots of familiar faces ensured a great atmosphere – one of our regulars Alan likened it to a youth club for 50 year olds – magic I thought, just what we wanted!
