Vinylsessions last Wednesday – packed to capacity again – Hard facts here! £511 raised and a great evening with the usual jovial banter between Graham and me!!! It’s a tricky album in a large listening environment but with a Linn Sondek and beefy Harmon Kardon amp from the mid 80s we cracked it, Wharfedale Evo 5 speakers broke the age related focus a little – TBH I’m not enamoured with them, despite size they just seem to give a “thin” soundstage, not like some of our classic speakers!
